FINAL YEAR PERFORMANCES

YEAR 1 is about discovery and exploration – understanding the equipment you have and how to use it 

YEAR 2 builds on this as you begin to apply the growing techniques in the acting space, on screen and to the microphone  

 

YEAR 3 is where you show your skills to a public audience in films, plays, tours and a showcase

 

 

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

-       18 years old at start of the course

-       200 UCAS tariff points

-       Fluent English if English is not your first language

 

 

AUDITIONS

-       Entry to the Acting courses is by audition only

-       There is a non-refundable £35 audition fee for the Three Year Acting course

-       Auditions take place at ALRA North and ALRA South, at our out of town auditions in Edinburgh and Bristol, and at schools and colleges who are part of the Outreach Programme

-       The process will be conducted by ALRA staff members and will be fair and rigorous. In all instances applicants will be asked to present two contrasting monologues of not more than two minutes each.
